Ryan brings nine years of residential real estate development experience, with a background spanning accounting, operations, and executive leadership. He began his career as a staff accountant before moving into field operations, gaining hands-on experience across both horizontal development and vertical construction. This cross-functional perspective gives him a comprehensive understanding of the full development lifecycle—from land development and construction to financial management and reporting.
For the past seven years, Ryan has focused on the Build-to-Rent (BTR) sector, helping scale operations and support significant portfolio growth. A highlight of his career includes helping grow a two-person operation into a team of more than 15 professionals delivering more than 200 units annually.
As Vice President of Accounting at Red Cedar, Ryan combines operational insight with financial expertise to strengthen financial controls, improve reporting transparency, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
